1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of More Like U and morelikeu.com.
By creating an account or continuing to use More Like U, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
More Like U is operated by Noga Rappoport, an individual business operator (Israeli osek patur) in Israel. References to “More Like U”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms refer to the service and its operator. Contact: support.morelikeu@gmail.com
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use More Like U.
You must provide accurate information concerning your eligibility, including your date of birth.
You may not use More Like U if your account has been suspended or if we have prohibited you from using the service, except as necessary to exercise available account/privacy rights such as downloading your data or deleting your account.
3. What More Like U is
More Like U is a social-discovery service intended to help people find others around them with shared interests and compatible social intentions.
Potential uses include friendship, activities, going out, travel, networking, dating and other social connections.
During the current pre-launch stage, some features described by the broader concept may not yet be available. In particular, profile discovery and communication between users may be introduced later and may initially be available only in selected areas.
Creating a profile does not guarantee that your area will open, that other users will be available, or that you will meet or connect with anyone.
4. Your account
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account and for maintaining control of the Google account used to sign in.
You may not:
- impersonate another person;
- create a misleading or fraudulent profile;
- use another person's photos without permission;
- provide materially false eligibility information;
- attempt to access another user's account or private information;
- circumvent account restrictions or suspension;
- interfere with the security or operation of More Like U; or
- use automated or unauthorized methods to access the service.
5. Your profile and content
You retain responsibility for the photos, text and other content you submit to More Like U.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit that content and that doing so does not violate another person's rights.
You grant More Like U a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display your submitted content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide the service and its features.
This licence ends when the relevant content or account is deleted, subject to reasonable technical backup periods and legitimate legal/security obligations.
6. Prohibited conduct and content
You may not use More Like U to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse another person;
- promote hatred or discrimination against protected groups;
- post sexually exploitative, non-consensual or otherwise prohibited sexual content;
- exploit or endanger minors;
- impersonate another person;
- scam, defraud or deceive others;
- distribute spam or unauthorized commercial solicitations;
- publish another person's private information without authorization;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- encourage violence or serious illegal activity;
- distribute malicious software or attempt unauthorized system access;
- evade safety or account restrictions; or
- otherwise use the service in a manner that creates a material safety, legal or security risk.
The Community Guidelines provide additional practical rules.
7. Safety and interactions with other people
More Like U may help introduce people, but we do not independently verify every statement, photograph, identity, intention or representation made by every user.
When interaction and discovery features become available, you remain responsible for your decisions about whether, when and where to communicate with or meet another person.
Use reasonable precautions when interacting with people you first encounter online.
More Like U does not guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct, compatibility or safety of another user.
8. Moderation
We may review accounts or content when reasonably necessary for safety, security, enforcement or support.
We may remove content, restrict functionality or suspend an account where we reasonably believe these Terms, the Community Guidelines, applicable law, or the safety/security of the service may be implicated.
Administrative access is restricted and is intended to be used only where reasonably necessary.
As the service develops, additional reporting, blocking and moderation functionality may be introduced.
9. Account suspension
Suspension may prevent you from modifying or participating through your profile.
A suspended account may remain able to use certain privacy/account functions, including downloading account data, deleting the account and signing out.
Attempting to circumvent a suspension is prohibited.
10. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your More Like U account through Account settings.
Deletion is irreversible.
Deleting your More Like U account does not delete your Google account.
11. Availability and changes
More Like U is under development.
We may add, remove, modify, test, limit or discontinue functionality and may open the service gradually by geographic area.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security or operational reasons.
12. Intellectual property
More Like U's branding, software, interface, design and other materials supplied by us are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of More Like U or its technology.
Your own user-generated content remains subject to Section 5.
13. No guarantee of matches or outcomes
More Like U does not guarantee:
- that any particular number of users will be available;
- that your area will open by a particular date;
- that another user will respond to you;
- that you will make friends, find activity partners, develop professional connections or form a romantic relationship;
- compatibility between users; or
- any particular social or personal outcome.
14. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, More Like U is provided on an “as available” basis.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
Subject to applicable law, More Like U is not responsible for losses caused solely by the independent conduct of other users, circumstances outside our reasonable control, or a user's decision to rely on another user's representations.
Nothing in this section removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
15. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information is described in the More Like U Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as More Like U develops or where legal, safety or operational requirements change.
For material changes, we may provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance where appropriate.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdictional protections that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
